The House of the Lord, jot of pixel, sits glowing.
Look down from your heavens; see all that’s worth knowing.
And now abideth pancakes, smiles, and handshakes.
But at morn the greatest of these are pancakes.
First time at Sunstone? Just try to stay mellow.
Listen for angels; they’re folks who say hello.
Taking pictures in temples is oh so forbidden,
Even window reflections keep inner courts hidden.
Beneath each sincere and each well-worded question,
there lies a sincerer implicit suggestion.
The winter lingers. Though my lens wants for ruddy,
the lights remain off in Brother Joseph’s study.
Like Sunstone, meter sometimes beats toward stern and stark,
Today they’re both advanced by Lindsay Hansen Park.

The NASA picture at top is cropped from a larger image featuring all five of the Great Lakes. I invite you to enjoy that image and a full caption. All other images in this post are mine and taken during Sunstone Kirtland.
I love the photos, and the couplets!
