What are opinions re. having a BYU degree on one’s resume going forward? I know of kids making grad school decisions who are very unsure right now.

Hundreds rally against new Mormon policy; many file forms to quit the faith (with video)
More than 1,000 inactive and active Mormons — along with their backers — rallied in City Creek Park on Saturday to protest the LDS Church’s recent policy decisions involving same-sex couples and their children.
“The church’s decision about families was the final straw for me,” said Connie Walker, who carried a bright pink sign that read “I’m Resigning Today Because Jesus Says Love Everyone.”
At least some of the Brethren are still digging in. Today, we had Elder C. Scott Grow speak at stake conference. He made the point that the concept of “equal” is not biblical and specifically mentioned the policy and update. He also bashed political correctness. Ugh.
We had a combined lesson on porn today.
In Canada we didn’t talk about Porn or this new policy. It was about personal preparedness, the atonement and effective ward councils, I enjoyed it fine.
Why take it out on BYU? they can’t do anything about it.

because there were bans on BYU near the end of the AA priesthood and temple ban that played a part of external pressure on leaders to reconsider the matter (there was plenty of internal pressure as well, see Brazil).
