Mother’s Day

What thoughts would you like to say about your Mother on this day? (Pretend this is a virtual Sacrament meeting.)
I appreciate my mother for the things she has done right and I forgive my mother for the things she has done wrong. And I hope my own children will do the same.
Sometimes you don’t want people telling you that you are a saint, an angel, a higher being, or whatever just for being a mom (or doing any other hard thing). You just want it to be acknowledged that it’s not easy, so you know that all the hard work you put in really was necessary, and is recognized as such. And maybe a “thank you” every once in a while 🙂
If I were hanged on the highest hill,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine!
I know whose love would follow me still,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine!
If I were drowned in the deepest sea,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine!
I know whose tears would come down to me,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine!
If I were damned of body and soul,
I know whose prayers would make me whole,
Mother o’ mine, O mother o’ mine!
