Here is a repost from friend-of-the-blog Blair Hodges, who runs a great podcast and would be really happy to get your vote so he can win a Porsche. Not really. I’m not sure what he wins, but I’m sure the trophy will look nice on his bookshelf.
Here’s the link to go vote:

And here is the request from Blair (this is the last day to vote):
Today and tomorrow are the last days to vote for Fireside with Blair Hodges for best indie podcast. Are there better indie podcasts out in the world? Sure. Do I still want the award? Yes. And I’m excited to stop begging for your vote every day, but until then please visit bit.ly/votefireside and help me out. You can only vote once so make it count. And don’t forget to verify your email.

I went and voted for Blair’s Fireside. And while I was there I voted for podcasts in several other categories. This being America, you don’t need to know anything about the candidates to cast a vote.
I voted, too. ‘Murica! Blair is one of the best interviewers out there.
Looks like it’s neck and neck with “Fireside” at 38% and “Undiscarded: Stories of New York” at 37%…now I’m a little invested in seeing how this plays out, haha.
I personally get tired of stories about New York…pretty much ALL stories are about New York. If nothing else, go vote against the New York one! ππ
City of 8 million stories
I checked back into the Maxwell Institute podcast recently after a long absence and was saddened that Blair had left as presenter – and it seems to not be as good as a result IMO π Glad to see that he has pitched up elsewhere. I’ll be sure to subscribe!
